Terms of service
Last updated 4 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Utawazi Dev. & Branding Limited (“we”, “us”) and apply when you use Brand Autopilot (“the service”), including this website. By signing in, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the company whose workspace you use, and you confirm you are allowed to do so for that company.
They include our privacy policy, acceptable use policy, billing and refund policy and AI and automation notice.
1. Who we are
Brand Autopilot is a product of Utawazi Dev. & Branding Limited, a company registered in Kenya, which is the provider of the service.
Utawazi Dev. & Branding LimitedP.O. Box 30178 - 00100NairobiKenyaEmail: privacy@utawaziea.comPhone: +254 794 441 494 or +254 731 335 9992. The service
Brand Autopilot helps businesses plan, write, approve, publish and follow up on social media and blog content, using AI drafting and the official APIs of each network. We may also run the service for you as a managed service, under a separate agreement or quote. We improve the service over time and may change or remove features; if a change takes away something important you pay for, we will tell you first.
3. Accounts
- Accounts are by invitation. We open a workspace for each company and invite its owner; the owner decides who joins and with which role.
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate details.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself, turn on two-step verification or a passkey, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- The company is responsible for what its members do in its workspace.
4. Your content
You own the content you create and upload. You give us a limited permission to store, process, adapt (for example, cropping images or compressing video) and publish it only as needed to run the service for you. You are responsible for having the rights to what you post, including images, music, trademarks and claims, and for checking each post before you approve it.
5. AI-written drafts and automatic replies
Drafts, plans and suggested replies are written by an AI model from your brief, brand blueprint and the context given. They can be wrong, out of date or unsuitable. No post is published without a person's approval, and you remain responsible for what you approve. If you turn on automatic comment replies for a brand, you accept that replies within that brand's settings are sent without a person checking each one, as described in AI and automation.
6. Social networks
When you connect an account, you must also follow that network's own terms and policies, including Meta's (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp), LinkedIn's, TikTok's and YouTube's. Networks can change, limit or withdraw their APIs, reject posts or restrict accounts. We are not responsible for their decisions or outages, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
7. Plans, trials and payments
- New companies start with a 7-day free trial. When it ends, the company moves to the Free plan unless it buys a plan.
- Paid plans are bought for 2 days, a week, two weeks or a month at a time, through Paystack, by M-Pesa or card, and charged in Kenyan shillings.
- Card payments renew only if the owner chose to save the card, and the owner can turn that off at any time.
- Each plan has limits on use. When a limit is reached, the service may refuse the action until the next period or an upgrade.
- When paid time ends, the company moves to the Free plan. Refunds follow our billing and refund policy.
- Prices may change; a change never affects time already paid for.
8. Acceptable use
You must follow our acceptable use policy. In short: no spam, deception, harassment, illegal content or attempts to break into the service or other workspaces.
9. Our intellectual property
The service, its software, design and the Brand Autopilot name belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to copy, resell or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows. Open-source parts are covered by their own licences.
10. Confidentiality and data
We keep your workspace content confidential and use it only to provide the service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
11. Suspension
We may suspend an account, a workspace or a connected channel if it breaks these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or if the law or a network requires it. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
12. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and secure, but provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or for actions of social networks, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer under Kenyan law.
13. Ending the service
You can stop using the service at any time, turn off auto-renew, and ask us to delete your data, as described in our data deletion page. We may end the service for a company with 30 days' notice, or at once for a serious breach of these terms. Before a workspace is deleted, the owner can download its media.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. We will try to settle any dispute with you informally first; if we cannot, the courts of Kenya will decide it.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will tell account holders about significant changes before they take effect. Questions? Email privacy@utawaziea.com or use our contact page.
